Lip Filler

Why use Lip Fillers?

Our lips are one of the most vulnerable areas for aging as the skin is very thin.

As we get older we grow rich in experience and confidence, but there is something we may lose... a youthful look to our skin.

The skin on your lips is constantly moisturised from within by hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring sugar.

Hyaluronic acid absorbs moisture and keeps your skin well hydrated and plump giving a youthful look.

When hyaluronic acid diminishes, your skin loses its youthful look. Lines begin to appear around the mouth and the lips start to thin.

What do Lip Fillers do?

Dermal filler replenishes the hyaluronic acid in your skin and so:

• Adds lip fullness back again

• Eases droop at lip corners

• Smoothes vertical lines around the mouth

• Reduces 'marionette' lines between lip corners and chin.

Lip Fillers usually last between 6 to 12 months.

What is the procedure and are Lip Fillers safe?

Numbing cream is applied to the lips and left to take effect for 15 minutes. Once your lips are numb, injections using a fine needle are given around the border and the body of the lips, and the lips are then massaged. The whole procedure takes approximately 35-40 minutes.

Lip fillers are genuinely safe when done by an experienced and qualified practitioner but are not completely risk-free. Possible complications will be fully explained during the initial consultation.
